To calculate the time taken by the women to save 2000 rupees we devide total money by the money saved in one day.

Tolal days= 2000 /10
Total days=200

women takes 6 months and 20 days to save 2000 rupees if she saves 300 rupees per month.

d = Rs 300

To find :

x = ?

Proof :

aₓ = a + ( x - 1 ) * d

= 2000 = 300 + ( x - 1 ) 300

= 2000 - 300 = ( x - 1 ) 300

= 1700 = ( x - 1 ) 300

=> 1700 / 300 = ( x - 1 )

= 17 / 3 = ( x - 1 )

= 5.6 = ( x - 1 )

=> 5.6 + 1 = x

=> x = 6.6 months.

Hence it would take 6.6 months to save Rs 2000.
