It is a Hindu belief but Christians or Muslims have no problem with this. A Hindu girl during this is not allowed to go to Temple and not to sleep on bed and others won't eat the food made by her but myself being a Hindu I am only forced to not to go to Temple but others are done. In case of entering Temple I am truely with the statement but in other I oppose it
