As the woman walks 8 km to the South and then turns to the right, that means she is towards the west and then after walking 6 km she turns towards the left side that means she is again towards the south.

So the answer is South.

Hope it helped you.

Given,

A woman walks: 8 km towards the South, then turns to the right, then walks 6 km and turns left, then walks 8 km

To find,

Her present direction.

Solution,

She will be in the South direction.

We can easily solve this problem by following the given steps.

Now, according to the question,

A woman walks: 8 km towards the South, then turns to the right, then walks 6 km and turns left, then walks 8 km.

When she turns to her right, her direction is towards the West. And then she turns to her left, her direction is towards the South.

(Note: you can trace the direction easily by drawing a large '+' sign. The upper side is the North, the lower side is the South, the right side is the east direction and the left side is the west direction.)

Hence, her present direction is South.
