Small children carry Tri-colours in their hands heading with zeal towards their schools early in the morning in order to become a part of the flag hoisting ceremony and participate in different events that take place in their schools. Almost every vehicle such as cars, auto rickshaw, motorbikes, etc would have a tri-colour flying on the top of it. Patriotic songs can be heard at every corner of the street.
