Explanation:

One day, a Woodcutter was chopping the trees near a bank of the river. Suddenly, due to his moist hand the axe slipped form his hand and drown into the river. The Woodcutter felt very sorry for this accident. He sat down and wept.

The Goddess of the river felt very pitty in him and came to him from the water with a golden & silver axe. She asked the Woodcutter, "Was these what you lost?" The Woodcutter replied, "No Goddess. I'd a normal iron made axe." Goddess became very happy to see his honesty and gifted him silver, golden and iron made axe. The honest Woodcutter came back to his home happily.

These incident was shown by an shrewd Woodcutter. After the disappearance of the Goddess he threw his axe into the river and started wiping. The Goddess came out from the river with 3 axe- Golden, Silver and iron made normal axe. She asked, " Which one is your?" The shrewd Woodcutter replied "Silver and Golden".

The Goddess became very angry to see his dishonesty and greed. She said,"You're a lier. You don't achieve any axe." Therefore the Goddess was disappeared. The shrewd Woodcutter came back to home sadly.

Moral: Honesty is the best policy.
