Let D be the density of wood

Density of wood / Density of Water = Part of block submerged / Total Part

D / 1 = 2V/3  / 1V

D/ 1 = 2/3

D = 2/3

= 0.67 g / cm3

Again , 3V/4 / 1 V = 0.67 / D

3/4 = 0.67 / D

D = 0.87 g/ cm3
