Time = Distance / Relative Velocity
Time = 100 / (100 - 0)
Time = 100/100 = 1 second

They’ll meet after 1 second.

Answer:

The block and the bullet will meet after 1 second

Explanation:

Let us assume they both meet each other after t second

Now if the block is travelling “x” distance the bullet will travel (100-x) distance in the same amount of time

Solving for block

X =0×t+12s

\begin{array}{l}{=0 \times t+1 / 2 \times 10 \times t^{2}} \\ {X=5 t^{2}}\end{array}

Solving for bullet

\begin{array}{l}{100-x=100 \times t+1 / 2(-10) t^{2}} \\ {100-x=100 \times t-5 t^{2}}\end{array}

100 – X = 100x t – X

100 = 100xt

T=1

Solving this we get t=1second
