Answer:

Given,  A wooden block of measure 16cm × 12cm × 9m

            Its volume is = 16 * 12 * 9 * 1000 cm³ [ l * b * h = volume of cuboid ]

                                  = 16 * 108  * 1000 cm³

                                  =  1728000 cm³

Dimension of cubical block is, l = 6 cm

total cubes to be cut from it = Volume of cuboid by volume of cube ( l³ ) = 1728000/6³ = 8000 cubes to be cut (Ans.)

If in your question, dimension of cuboid is 16 cm * 12 cm * 9 cm

then total cube is 8000/1000 = 8 cubes (Ans.)

                                              Hope it helps

A wooden block of measure 16cm × 12cm × 9m  ( given)

∴ Volume of the box is = 16cm × 12cm × 9000 cm [  volume of cuboid = (l× b×h) cubic unit ]

                                       = (16 × 108  × 1000)cm³

                                       =  1728000 cm³

Dimension of cubical block is, l = 6 cm

∴ volume of the cubical block = V= side ×side×side= side³= 6cm ×6cm×6cm= 216cm³

Now we have to find out total number of cubes:-

Total  number of cubes to be cut = (Volume of cuboid) ÷ ( volume of cube)

                                                        = \frac{1728000}{216}  cm³/cm³

                                                        = 8000

Hence 8000 cubes can be cut from the wooden block.

Ans :-Total 8000 cubes can be cut from the wooden block.
