A wooden block of 50 g is float in water. Volume of wooden block is 60^3

Explanation:

volume of wooden block = 60cm³.

mass of wooden block = 50 grams

Density of wooden block = mass of the wooden block/ volume of the wooden block.

= 50g/216000

= 0.83 g/cm³

As we know, Density of water is 1 g/cm³

here 0.83g/cm³ < 1 g/cm³ so the wooden block will float.

According to Archimedes Principle,so the mass of the wooden block is equal to the mass of the water displaced by the wooden block.

Mass of the water displaced = 50 grams.
