Answer:Firsr of all we calculate the dimensions of the of the wooden box by adding up the thickness to get the external dimensions, the l=6+0.2=6.2m,b=8+0.2=8.2m and height will remain to be 9m.then we calculate the lateral surface area of the box as follows :

6.2x8.2x2=101.68

6.2x9x2=111.6

8.2x9x2=147.6

Total surface area will be

101.68+111.6+147.6=360.88

The cost will be

360.88x50=18044

=Rs.18044
