external dimension of a cuboid is 140 cm into 100 cm into 80 CM
since the thickness of a cuboid is 5 centimetre on all sides
so , then internal dimension of a cuboid will be 130 cm 90 cm 70 cm

volume of wood required to make wooden box = external vol - internal volume of the cuboid
= (140 cm * 100 cm * 80 cm ) -( 130 cm *70 cm * 90 cm )
=1120000cm^3 - 897000cm^3
=223000cm^3
vol. in m^3 = 223000/1000000
= 0.223m^3
