10*6*5=300.

(10-2)*(6-2)*(5-2)=96.

300-96=204

Answer:

288 cm^3

Step-by-step explanation:

Outer length = 10 cm

Outer width = 6 cm

Outer height = 5 cm

Thickens of wood = 2 cm

Inner length = (10-(2+2))=6 cm

Inner width = (6-(2+2))=2 cm

Inner height =(5-(2+2))= 1 cm

Volume of cuboid= Length \times Width \times Height

Volume of wood = Outer Volume - Inner Volume

                            =(10 \times 6 \times 5)-(6 \times 2 \times 1)

                            =288 cm^3

Hence the volume of the wood req to make the box is 288 cm^3
