Pressure=Force/Area

Pressure=F/7

we don't know Force,but we know

Force= Mass×Acceleration

mass of the object is 3.5kg

and Acceleration?

that is it's acceleration due to gravity, therefore the acceleration is 9.8 m/s.

thus

Force=3.5×9.8

Force=34.30 N

And now finding pressure exerted

Pressure=Force/Area
