a wooden container is in the form of a cuboid whose external measures are 80cm x 30cm x 40cm. The base, sideface and back face are to be covered with a paper. Find the area of the paper needed?

We must find the lateral surface area in order to find the area of the paper needed.. So L. S. A of a cuboid is 2h(l+b)
Substituting the values u get 8800cm^2 =88 m^2

area of paper needed= 2(l+b)h
2(80+30)40
2×110×40
= 8800 cm2
