Mass = 8kg

Area of surface on which cuboid is placed = lb = 100 × 50 sq. units

Pressure = F/Area

F= ma = 8 × 10 = 80N

Here a=g=10m/s^2

Pressure=80N/5000sq. units = 400000 N/sq.unit

Hope it helps

M = 8kg

L = 100

B = 50

H = 20

We know P = F / A

F = M * g

= 8 * 10 = 80 N

Area of cuboid = 2(LB + BH + HL)

= 2(100*50 + 50*20 + 20*100)

= 2(5000 + 1000 + 2000)

= 2 * 8000

= 16000 m^2

Now put values in formula

P = 80 / 16000

= 0.002 N / m^2

Thanks

Navnihal: You are wrong. Here TSA would not be taken as area becaure in formula of pressure area is that area on which body is kept not the TSA of body
