Hey mate..
========
Given,

▪Height of the wooden door

= 2m 8cm

= 2.08m

▪Width of the wooden door = 1.2m

So, The total area of wooden door

= ( 2.08×1.2 ) m^2

=2.496m^2

The dimension of each pane is ••>

40cm by 20cm

i.e. 0.4m by 0.2m

Area of each glass pane

= (0.4×0.2) m^2

=0.08m^2

So, Area of 4 glass panes

=( 4×0.08 ) m^2

=0.32m^2

Therefore, area of wood

= (Total area of wooden door - area of 4 glass panes )

= (2.496 − 0.32) m^2

=2.176 m^2

Hope it helps !!

Answer:

Step-by-step explanation:

Length of wooden door =2m 8cm =2.08m. Width of wooden door= 1.2m.

Area=l×b=1.2×2.08=2.496m. .Area of each pane=40×20=80cm=0.8m.

Areaof 4 panes=0.8×4=0.32.

Area of wood =2.496-0.32= 2.176m

Ans =2.176m .
