Let 'n' be the no of brick cut

⇒ Vol. of cuboid =n× vol. of cube

⇒7×8×24=n×3

n=49.78

∴ no of brick

that can be cut out is

49

Vol. left = Vol. of cuboid −(49) Vol. of cube

=(7×8×24)−49(3
