A wooden tile measures 12cm ×10cm. How many such tiles are required to cover a wall of size 4m × 3m ?

Area of one tile is 12x10 that is 120 cm square
area of wall is 12 m square
now 1 m square is 10000 cm square
therefore area of wall is 120000cm square therefore no of tiles is 120000 cm square / 120 cm square
that is 1000 tiles.
