radius of cylinder= radius of hemisphere = r= 3.5 cm

vol. of wood in toy = vol. of cylinder = =2 × vol . of each hemisphere

=(22/7 × r × r ×h ) - ( 2 × 2/3 × 22/7 × r× r × r)

=22/7 × r × r ( h - 4/3 r )

=22/7 × 3.5 × 3.5 ( 10 - 4.67 )

=38.5 ×5.33

=205.205 cm 3
