The work can be completed by A in 8 days. If the quantum of work is divided into 24 units one day A will complete 3 units of work.

B will do one day 2 units of work. A will do 3 units of work first day. B next day will do 2 units of work. First two days 5 units of work will be completed. Next two days another five units of work will be done ..

4 days 10 units of work will be completed.

Ninth day 3 units that is 23 units s Tenth day half day work will be completed.
