A work can be done in 25days by 8 men working together. if after 5 days of work they are joined by 2 others in how many days will the remaining work be finished

work done in 5 days = 5/25 = 1/5

remaining work = 4/5

so 10 workers will do the whole work in x days let

25 * 8 = x * 10

x = 200/10

x = 20

so 10 workers can do whole work in 20 days

but we have remaining work = 4/5

so 10 workers can do the 4/5 work in 4/5 * 20 = 16 days
