If B completes the work alone in 15 days ⇒ in one day B do's a work of W/15

if the work together in one day they complete a work of W/10 + W/15 = W/6

⇒ if they work together they complete the work in 6 days but A leaves the work 4 days before the completion ⇒ A and B work together for only 2 days

⇒ 2 days work of A and B is 2 × W/6 = W/3

remaining work = W - W/3 = 2W/3

2W/3 work must be completed by B

one day B do's a work of W/15 ⇒ he completes the remaining work in

⇒ (2W/3 × 15/W) days = 10 days
