A work man is paid rupees 150 for each day he works and is fined rupees 50 for each day he is absent. In a month of 30 days he earnedrupees 2100 for how many days did he remain absent?

The total no. of days in the month = 30
The salary of the work man of one day = 150
If he had gone the whole month on work he would have got = 4500
But since he got rupees 2100
Therefore
The difference of total and his earning = 2400
Since,
The each day he would not go then 50 rupees would cut
Therefore,
The days he didn't come = 2400/50
= 48
NOTE THERE IS SOMETHING WRONG IN THIS QUESTION AS THE ANSWER COMES 48 DAYS
