A worker in a sugar factory packs 24 cardboard boxes with 15 layers of sugar in each. If he had boxes which held 18 layers of sugar each, how many boxes would be needed??​

Answer:

No. of cardboard boxes = 24

No. of layers in each box = 15

Total no. of layers = 24×15 = 360

Now,

There are 360 layers and no. of layers in each box is 18

Total boxes = 360/18 = 20

20 boxes would be needed if 18 layers of sugar is held in each box
