9 days

150-50= 100. (1)

therefore he gets rs100 per day

therfore 30 days=3000

3000-2100=900

therefore x×100=900

=9 days

let the days he was absent be x

he was worked ( 30 - n )

total wage = 2100 = 150 × ( 30 -n ) - 50x

4500 - 200x = 2100

4500 - 200x = 2100

200x = 4500 - 2100

200x = 2400

x = 2400 ÷ 200

x= 12 days he was absent , hence proved
