A works twice as fast as B. If B can complete a piece of work independently in 35 days, then what
will be the number of days taken by A and B together to finish the work?

Ratio of rates of working of A and B = 2 : 1.

So, ratio of times taken = 1 : 2.

B's 1 day's work =121

∴A's one day's work=61(2 times the work of B)

(A+B)'s one day's work=61+121=123=41

So,A and B together can finish the work in 4 days.
