A works twice as fast as B. They work together and complete a job in 8 days. How long would A take to complete the job?​

As, A works twice as fast as B, so, B’s effort for the work is 0.5x (per day)

Thus , in a day both A & B spend 1.5x amount of effort.

They complete the task in 8 days, tat means the total amount of effort spend by both working together is 1.5x*8 = 12x

By this we can conclude that this job need 12x amount of effort to be completed

As, a provides x amount of effort per day, it will require 12 days to complete the job
