Explanation:

A World Without Law. How noble the law, in its majestic equality, that both the rich and poor are equally prohibited from peeing in the streets, sleeping under bridges, and stealing bread! —Anatole France, 1894. No great idea in its beginning can ever be within the law.

Answer:

Laws are not different or special for any one group. It does not matter what race, religion, age, or sex you are, nor how much money you make. Laws protect everyone. In a world without law, we fundamentally lose what we humans have been striving to maintain for all of our existence, a peaceful place to live and grow.

Chaos. People would do whatever they wanted without rules. If they wanted your car, they would take it. If they wanted to go somewhere in a hurry they would ignore speed limits and stop lights. If they didn’t like you for any reason, they would simply pull out a gun and shoot you. If you lived in a nice house, they would simply move in and kick you out. Gangs would ‘rule’ by threat of violence, until a bigger better armed gang came along. Stores would close and never re-open because they would be robbed again and again by gangs. No one would deliver anything to gang areas, most industry would close down simply because they couldn’t get their goods to anyone.
