Answer:

Cost price is ₹ 300  and Loss per day would be ₹ 8,100 .

Step-by-step explanation:

Let the cost price of a wristwatch = x

Loss on each watch = 18%

Selling price of the wristwatch = \frac{x(100-18)}{100}

                                                   = \frac{82x}{100} ---------(1)

Gain would have been = 5%

When selling price would have been = \frac{x(100+5)}{100}

                                                             = \frac{105x}{100} ---------(2)

Now subtract equation (1) from equation (2)

\frac{105x}{100}-\frac{82x}{100}=69

\frac{23x}{100}=69

x = \frac{69\times 100}{23}

x = 300 Rs.

Loss = 18% × 300

        = 0.18 × 300

        = 54 Rs.

Selling price = 300 - 54 = 246

Since loss on one wrist watch = 54 Rs.

Loss on 150 watch = 54 × 150 = 8,100 Rs.

Cost price is ₹ 300  and Loss per day would be ₹ 8,100 .
