ii) CO2 + CaCO3 + H2O = Ca(HCO)3 + CO2

a) (i)Carbon dioxide Formula: CO2

  Lime Water Formula: Ca(OH)2

Chemical Equation: Ca(OH)2+ CO2------> CaCO3+ H2O

(ii) Ca(OH)2+ H2O+ CO2-----> Ca(HCO3)2

The compound form is Calcium Hydrogen Carbonate.

b) Calcium carbonate occurs asaragonite, calcite and dolomite.
