*Take some concentrated Hydrochloric acid in a testube.(Any other concentrated acid can be taken)

*Take some water in another testube.

*Take a glass beaker,pour some water in in.

*Add the hydrochloric acid drop by drop to it.[Adult or teacher supervision is advised]

*Touch the bottom of beaker.[You will find it hot]

*CONCLUSION:-Dilution of an acid is an exothermic process,and heat is released in the process.
