Metals:metals are malleable , ductile and also good conductors of electricity and heat.it are lustrous, strong (except sodium and potassium)and also sonorous. metals are generally hard(except sodium and potassium).

Non metal: non metals are neither malleable nor ductile and poor conductors of electricity and heat (except graphite).it are not strong ,not lustrous and not sonorous. it are soft (except diamond)
