It represent the well known myth of the descent of ganga river from heaven to earth. It is also known as ARJUNA'S PENANCE. It is 27 m wide and 9 m tall.

Ganga cascades slowly through the land, it purifies, nourishes and give blessings to all the creatures.

A number of gods and goddesses are shown gathered around to watch this miracle. There are kinnaras, various birds and animals can be seen.

A prominent bearded figured is identified as Arjuna, who is standing on one leg with his arms stretching upwards to pray to the ganga to come down on earth.
