6CO₂+12H₂O=(In presence of sunlight and chlorophyll)C₆H₁₂O₆+6O₂+6H₂O
Desert plants take up CO₂ and perform photosynthsis at night time.

PLEASE MARK AS BRAINLIEST IF HELPFUL!!!

07161020: this is because photosynthesis is accompanied by transpiration. At night time water loss is reduced due to cooler temp and mois so it is an adaptation by desert plants.

A)

Balanced chemical equation for photosynthesis :-

6CO₂ + 6H₂O -------------> C₆H₁₂O₆ + 6O₂

----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

B)

Desert plants take up Carbon Dioxide at night time to perform photosynthesis.
Desert plants have such mechanism to prevent water loss. As, during daytime, if they ope their stomata to take in CO
₂ , more water will be lost through transpiration. These plants' cells have an enzyme that is able to synthesize Carbon Dioxide at night time so that they can close their stomata during day time and open it when temperature goes down.
