  • female contain two ovaries each located on either sides of the uterus (A bag like structure where baby nourishes).
  • It produces female gametes (ova) and hormone (estrogen and progesterone).

Uterus:-

  • It is a bag like structure where the zygote is implanted and is nourished.
  • It is the site of embryo development.
  • it is also known as Womb

Fallopian tube:-

  • it is also known as Oviduct.
  • it is the site for fertilization i.e the fusion of male and female gamete takes place here.
  • It carries egg from ovary to uterus during menstruations.

  • it contains villi to give a larger surface area to the baby.
