A)When glucose breaks down in yeast this is called fermentation, the equation is:

glucose → ethanol + carbon dioxide (+ energy released)

B)Normally fish breath by taking water into their Gills, like lungs, contain many blood vessels with very thing walls i.e. capillaries. As the water passes over the thin walls of the gills dissolved oxygen moves into the blood stream and carbon dioxide is released out into the water.

Different fishes use different methods. For example most sharks use a method of breathing called ram ventilation where instead of taking water into their mouths and breathing it out through their gills water passes through the gills as the shark swims through the water. This means the constantly have to keep moving.

Ç) alveoil

D) hemoglobin pigment
