Answer:

y = xz / ( x +2z )

Step-by-step explanation:

given \: that \\ {a}^{x}  =  {b}^{y}  =  {c}^{z}  = k \: (say)

so \: a =  {k}^{ \frac{1}{x} }

b =   {k}^{ \frac{1}{y} }

c =  {k}^{ \frac{1}{z} }

also \: given \: that \: b =  {a}^{2}c

so \:  {k}^{ \frac{1}{y} }  =  {k}^{ \frac{1}{x} }  \times  {k}^{ \frac{1}{x} } \times {k}^{ \frac{1}{z} }

equating powers alone

 {a}^{m}  \times  {a}^{n}  =  {a}^{m + n}

1/y = 1/x+1/x+1/z

1/y =2/x+1/z

1/y = 2z+x ÷ xz

y = xz / ( x +2z )
