a. xy-[yz-zx-{yx-3y+xz-xy+zy}]

xy-[yz-zx-yx+3y-xz+xy-zy]

xy-yz+xz+yx-3y+xz+xy-zy

3xy-2yz+2xz-3y

b. 3-[x-{2y-(5x+y-3)2×2} - [ 2x-3y]

=3-[x-{2y-(5x+y-3)4} - [2x-3y]

=3-[x-{2y-(20x+4y-12)} -2x+3y

=3-[x-{2y-20x-4y+12}] - 2x+3y

=3-[x -[-2y-20x+12] - 2x +3y

= 3 - [ x + 2y +20x -12 ] -2x+3y

= 3 -x - 2y -20x + 12 -2x +3y

= 15 - 23x + y
