A yellow colour power X is soluble in carbon di sulphate. It burns with a blue flame forming suffocating smelling gas which turns moist blue litmus red. Identify X and give chemical reaction

The yellow coloured powder is most probably Sulphur.
Sulphur burns in oxygen to produce sulphur dioxide which is suffocating.
It is also acidic in an aqueous medium.
Im not sure about thecolour part, but these two criteria fill up, i think it burns blue, sorry for that :)
