subject: Highlighting the garbage problem

Respected sir,

Through the columns of your esteemed newspaper, I want to show my concern towards the collection of garbage without segregation.

In my locality, the garbage is being collected without segregation. There are no separate garbage bins for dry and wet waste. Garbage collectors are not segregating the waste and even the residents are not segregating waste at home.

To deal with this problem, RWA should provide separate bins for dry and wet waste. They should spread awareness and encourage people to segregate the waste. Kindly publish this issue on your newspaper.

Thanking you

Yours sincerely

Subject- Need for garbage segregation.

Respected Sir,

Through the column of your esteemed newspaper, I would like to draw attention towards the collection of garbage without garbage segregation. The garbage in our locality though being collected at one place but is not being segregated the way it should be. There is no separate bins for dry and wet waste. Neither the garbage collector nor the residents separates the wastes. Even we had few meetings with RWA members to raise this concern but to no avail.

To deal with this problem, RWA should provide separate bins for dry and wet waste. That is separating the waste in to two different categories, we can reduces the quantity of mixing of biodegradable as well as non-biodegradable waste. RWA should spread awareness among the people that wet waste should be kept in green bins and dry waste should be in blue bins.

I'll be highly obliged if you publish this on your newspaper to ingrained in people for need of proper segregation .

Thanking you.

Yours faithfully,

SUBHA MOHANTY.
