Given : A zoo is planned as shown . Adjacent to is it a triangular car park having an area of 60 m^2. A circular well of diameter 6m lines inside the zoo

To Find : area of Zoo  without well and parking

Solution:

Area of triangle  = (1/2) * 12 * h   = 60

=> h = 10  m

Height = 10 m

area of zoo with out parking = 12 * 10  = 120  m²

Diameter = 6 m

=> radius = 3 m

Area of well  = π3²  = 28.26 m²

area of Zoo  without well and parking  = 120 - 28.26

= 91.74 m²

Fencing as per Diagram for car parking  =12 + 10 + 23 = 45 m

Actually  12 + 10 +  √12² + 10²

= 22 + 15.6

= 37.6 m
