Some species that find it difficult to survive in all types of zoos or botanical parks are penguins, polar bears, rhinoceros, hippopotami etc.
This is because of the fact that some of these creatures require very cold climatic conditions, which may be difficult to replicate in zoos of the tropics. Similarly, creature that are found in the tropical climates, find it difficult to survive in cold climate.
Space is another restraint in zoos and parks for keeping many kinds of creatures which require large, wide open space to survive.
