I am writing this letter to you to grant permission to the school children to read newspaper headlines during the school assembly daily.

This is to inform you that the students of our school are neglecting the importance of reading newspaper. Each and every student must be updated about what is going on around us. Reading newspaper daily is a good habit and is very beneficial. As reading daily newspaper improves your recitation and our general knowledge. As we all know that, in all the competitive exams most of the questions are based on current affairs and general knowledge. The students don't like to read newspapers as they think that it's quite boring but they don't know that it provides the best quality news daily which would help them in their further life.
