Answer :

= a² - 16a + 16 = 0

= a=\dfrac{-\left(-16\right)±\sqrt{\left(-16\right)^{2}-4\times 16}}{2}

=a=\dfrac{-\left(-16\right)±\sqrt{256-64}}{2}

=a=\dfrac{-\left(-16\right)±\sqrt{192}}{2}

=a=\dfrac{-\left(-16\right)±8\sqrt{3}}{2}

= a=\dfrac{16±8\sqrt{3}}{2}

=a=\dfrac{8\sqrt{3}+16}{2}

=a=4\sqrt{3}+8

=a=\dfrac{16-8\sqrt{3}}{2}

=a=8-4\sqrt{3}

The value of a is

  • a=4\sqrt{3}+8
  • a=8-4\sqrt{3}
