Dear mate I think you typed the question wrong it will be a²+6a+9

'cause a²+3a+9 can not be solved

Solution:

a^2+6a+9

By using middle term split

a^2+3a+3a+9

a(a+3)+3(a+3)

(a+3)(a+3)
