Hi ,

a² + 4b² - 4ab - 4c²

= a² + ( 2b )² - 2 × a × 2b - 4c²

= ( a - 2b )² - ( 2c )²

= [ ( a - 2b ) + 2c ] [ ( a - 2b ) - 2c ]

= ( a - 2b + 2c )( a - 2b - 2c )

I hope this helps you.

A²+4b²-4ab-4c² →{a²+(2b)²-2(2b)a}-(2c)² →(a-2b)²-(2c)²{Since, a²+b²-2ab=(a-b)²} →(a-2b-2c)(a-2b+2c){Since, a²-b²=(a+b)(a-b)} (ÆÑẞWĒR)
