Answer:

a-b=4

Step-by-step explanation:

a^2+b^2=890\\ab=437 => 2ab=874\\Now,\\a^2+b^2-2ab=890-874\\a^2+b^2-2ab=16\\(a-b)^2=4^2       (as, (a-b)^2=a^2+b^2-2ab  ,and,  4^2=16)\\a-b=4 (Square. rooting. both. the. sides)

Answer:

a^2+b^2=890 .

add 2ab And substract 2ab

then,a^2+b^2-2ab+2ab=890••••(1)

given that ,ab=437

then 2ab =874 now

from equation 1

(a-b)^2+2ab=890

now put value of 2ab

(a-b)^2=890-874

then,(a-b)^2 =16 so,

(a-b)=4
