By using identity we get,

( a + b ) ^2 = a^ 2 + b^ 2 + 2ab

( a + b ) ^ 2 = 9 + 2.(4)

By using identity we get ,

( a - b ) ^ 2 = a ^2 + b ^2 - 2ab

( a - b ) ^2 = 9 - 2(4)

( a - b )^2 = 1

AND NOW FINDING VALUE

3 ( a+ b ) ^2 - [ 2 ( a - b ) ^2]

now putting values,

3.(17) - [ 2 ( 1 ) ]
