Heya!
Here is ur answer...
Given,
a+b+c = 4
a²+b²+c² = 14
Now,
(a+b+c)² = a²+b²+C² +2ab+2bc+2ac
4² = 14+2(ab+bc+ac)
16 = 14+2(ab+bc+ac)
16-14 = 2(ab+bc+ac)
2 = 2(ab+bc+ac)
ab+bc+ac = 2/2
ab+bc+ac = 1
Hope it helps!

Given,
a + b + c = 4
a² + b² + c² = 14
We know that,
(a + b + c)² = a² + b² + c² + 2(ab + bc + ca)
Substitute the values in their respective areas.
(4)² = 14 + 2(ab + bc + ca)
16 = 14 + 2(ab + bc + ca)
16 - 14 = 2(ab + bc + ca)
2 = 2(ab + bc + ca)
Transport 2 into LHS.
2/2 = ab + bc + ca
ab + bc + ca = 1
Therefore, ab + bc + ca = 1
