Answer:

The question is from the novel Little Women is a novel by American author Louisa May Alcott.

The question mentions the second plot of the story when "Laurie" the grandson of Mr Laurence who was the neighbour of the March sisters.

(0) Laurie confirmed the names of the march sisters when Laurie graduates from college, having put in effort to do well in his last year with Jo's prompting. He realises that he has fallen in love with Jo. So he proposed Joe for marriage and Joe rejects it and tells him that he will love him as his brother. Whereas he transfers his affection for her sister Amy.  So Laurie confirms the name of the march sisters who were  Meg, Jo, Beth, and Amy.

ii)  Grandpa and Jo just have a small interaction when Laurie, Grandpa along with Amy they went for Europe and Jo was taking care of her sister Beth, who was ill. They had a few conversation when Mr Laurence that is grandpa gave Beth a piano.

i. Laurie described the girl as Beth who always stayed at home and sometimes went out with her small basket. He identified the girl as Meg and curly haired one girl as Amy. Therefore Laurie confirmed the names in this way.

ii. Jo expressed her feeling about grandpa that he had kind eyes and good heart but he was not very handsome like her grandfather. She didn’t know that Laurie’s grandpa was listening her talk. Grandpa thanked her after listening to her thought about him. She felt uncomfortable after that but grandpa took her words in a positive way and made her comfortable with his soft words.
